Python From Zero
Syntax, real problem solving, and the version control nobody teaches beginners.
Free to watch. Starting adds a personal copy to My Learning with progress tracking and a curated-path certificate on completion.
About this path
Most Python courses are sixty near-identical numbered videos. This path takes three of the eight blocks, adds MIT's opening lectures so you learn computational thinking rather than syntax trivia, brings in Crash Course on algorithms and data structures, and finishes with the Git basics every tutorial skips and every job requires on day one.
What you'll learn
- Write Python with confidence in types, control flow, and functions
- Work with files, collections, and errors without copying from Stack Overflow
- Think about a problem in algorithmic terms before you code
- Choose an appropriate data structure and say why
- Track and recover your work with Git from your first project
The path, module by module
Each step is lifted from a full course in our catalog, and where a course repeats itself we keep only the lessons that earn their place.
